Scholarship Information

Learn about the annual scholarship to an incoming University of Illinois student.

The Twin Cities Illini Club offers a $1,000 scholarship to an incoming University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign first-year student from Minnesota. Our goal is to offer a scholarship annually, but the award is contingent on sufficient donations and funding.
 

The recipient of the Jack Carlson Memorial Twin Cities Illini Club Scholarship is recognized for an outstanding high school career, including but not limited to academic excellence and extracurricular participation.
 

Students who have been accepted into the University of Illinois and are enrolled for the fall are invited to apply. Applications for the upcoming fall scholarship are due in early summer. The recipient will be notified in July or August before university classes begin. The award is distributed in October.
