Big Ten Service Event Set for April 29

Big Ten alumni, friends, and family will assist the food bank Second Harvest Heartland in the annual community service event. Sign up today!

Join Big Ten graduates, family and friends and give back to the community at the Twin Cities Big Ten service event on Sat., April 29. Alumni will lend a hand at Second Harvest Heartland's warehouse facility in Golden Valley from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers 8 years of age or older are welcome to attend. Come to the event and stay for a lunch-time gathering with friends and alumni.

* Please respond by April 20.
* If you are registering more than one person, please create a separate registration for each person. If you do not have the names of all those accompanying you or if you wish not to include their names (such as for any youth accompanying you), please register them as "Guest of (your name)."
* In the "Organization" line, please indicate with which Big Ten school you are affiliated.  (If your guests are not Big Ten alumni, indicate your affiliation instead.)

When: Sat., April 29, 9 - 11:30 am. Plan to arrive by 8:50 a.m.

Participants can choose the activity most suited to the level of exertion they wish to take on. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Sorting and packing activities will be based on the facility's needs and the final group size.
